Sierra, the games publisher, is looking to supplement its long history of hits as its wades into new territory on the Live Arcade.

Assault Heroes is easily the best looking game currently available on Live Arcade. Its stunning graphics give players a top-down window on a fast-paced shoot-em-up. Complete with the power-ups and boss battles that you have come to expect from an action arcade title. Players blast through wave after wave of enemies both on land and sea, stopping occasionally to head underground on foot.

Single player is a blast, but if you team up with a friend (either locally or on Live) the developer rewards you with a number of co-op power-ups and achievements.
