The British developer and publisher System 3 is celebrating 25 years in the business, and that apparently means revitalizing old school brands. A press release states that we’ll see new games in the Last Ninja, Impossible Mission and California Games series in the future, or at least announcement of upcoming ones.

No formats have been revealed, but there’s the distinct possibility that this actually is HD versions of the classic games for Live Arcade. I certainly wouldn’t mind revisiting the Last Ninja games, if the joystick controls of the past can translate well that is.

System 3, CEO, Mark Cale commented, “It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here for 25 years. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the industry and lots of people, systems and ideas come and go. One thing has stayed the same though – great games will always stand the test of time”.

Exciting. Hopefully we’ll have reasons to revisit this store here at Live Arcade Review in the near future.
