Wanted: Live Arcade blogger (paid position)
Folks, I’m sorry for the lack of updates here. Stuff happened (it always does, doesn’t it?) and sometimes you just have to take a few steps back and realize that you need to change things. So I have.
I still want to keep Live Arcade Review going though, so now I’m looking for bloggers that can get the load of my back. This is a paid position on a per post-basis!
You need to:
- Know just about everything about Xbox Live and be an avid gamer.
- Own a Xbox 360 and play Live Arcade games on it.
- Write good solid English.
It’s good if you:
- Run Windows Vista and have a Live account for it.
- Know some basic html.
- Know some basic Wordpress (do practice by getting a free wordpress.com account).

It sounds sort of like you can fill your blog with the posts of others without actually paying out a dime. Perhaps you would find more takers if you offered some kind of incentive to send you two news stories and 1 review. Where I come from… that sounds an awful lot like ‘work’.
I know, I know… I’m probably reading into this too much. I was actually quite impressed to find a site that was dedicated to reviewing/newsing Xbox Live Arcade. And then, the thought of earning a few bucks for writing FOR this fledgling site… woo hoo, right?
But… there is no mention of how many crisp greenbacks one could earn for regularly sharing the fruits of my Live Arcade time. Instead, a request that I (and who knows how many others) provide TWO news stories AND a review… for the low, low price of… FREE!
Hmmm… and not even a mention of what happens to the news stories and/or review. If I submit… will you use them? If you use them… will you pay? If you use them and don’t pay… will I receive some intangible, yet substantial (and probably greatly needed) boost to my karma?
