Any self-respecting gamer will have played a Sonic The Hedgehog game. Sega‘s mascot and Mario’s rival had some wonderful games under his belt, the platforming classics that relied on speed and precision more than anything.

Xbox Live Arcade is now bringing another great Sonic adventure with Sonic & Knuckles. This is the first game where Knuckles has become a “good guy” — assisting Sonic in defeating Dr. Eggman.

Players can play either as Sonic or Knuckles with different sets of abilities. There will be eight new zones and two different adventures added to the game. One unique feature of this version is that players can combine this with Sonic 3 to allow players to play as Sonic, Knuckles or Tails to uncover secrets. The game can also be combined with Sonic 2 and use Knuckles. This is a great add-on feature that will extend the life of any of the games.

At 400 MS points, Sonic & Knuckles is a great game to get.
